There is a chill in the air that is motivating us to add an additional layer. Think wisely and stylishly ladies! When it comes to jackets (always preferred by moi when the other choice is a sweater) now is the time to rock some leather. It’s not shockingly cold so you can simply top a hefty T, a cashmere sweater or even just a long sleeve blouse with the luxury of leather. Remember we have a very long winter season in which to layer tops, sweaters, coats and scarves, so let’s play the minimalist game for just a bit longer.
A great leather jacket infuses an element of sassiness that you just don’t get with your wooly mammoths. Once you find a leather jacket that you love, it will be indispensable, and a constant go–to. And remember my advice about cost-per-wear. It’s okay to spend more on a quality leather jacket, because you are going to own it for years to come. 
Note however, that what is known as ‘pleather’ and even ‘leather effect’ jackets are recommended as well – as long as they look rich, luxurious and worthy of being on your fabulous body!Ways to style your new best friend are endless! Here are six sassy styling ideas:1. Add a bit of edge to an otherwise classic black knit dress with a black leather moto jacket.2. Pop on some silver accents at the neck and wrist and finish the look with a short black-heeled bootie.3. Bring an old boring mid-length skirt to life by accessorizing it with a pointy patent pump, a sleek T-neck and a fitted leather (or pleather) jacket.
4. Rock your denim boyfriend jeans with a white T, a black leather moto jacket, and leopard flats.5. Think pretty in pink! Not ready to fall into the autumn tones? Still feeling Kate Spade-ish? Pop on a pink leather over a silk patterned shell and your traffic stopping black pants. Finish the epic look with a black patent pump!6. In need of a pop of color? Thinking you can only accomplish that with a scarf? Think again and think blue-baby-blue. This time the scarf will actually tone down the look!
