Sharon Resident Wins Makeover

Hadassah Northeast and Congregation Or Atid in Wayland sponsored an evening recently with image consultant and author Doreen Dove, and Hadassah member Deborah Lefkowitz, of Sharon, was the recipient of a $300 makeover with Dove.

Dove spoke about her background in fashion, starting from a young age, which ultimately shaped her independence, confidence and style. Dove used her physique and style to land a modeling job for Ann Taylor. From there, her career took off and has included clothing buyer, image consultant, personal stylist, professional and dynamic speaker and author.

Some of Dove’s takeaways include pairing sleek black pants, no belt loops or pockets with black heels to create a longer, leaner appearance; switch between dressy, casual and business style with the swap of a jacket and necklace; and closet makeover tips organizing by type of clothing, move out of season items to storage and remove items that are not being worn.
